SAFI CONNECTION aka MISHEL BITTON

Safi Connection is Mishel Bitton(32) Mishel first started to make music back in '97, where he released an album under the project “Sonichaos” . The Sonichaos album presented a very melodic approach that fitted the times back than. This album was released through Planet Music, a sub-label of B.N.E, a major player in the international Trance scene.

Few months after the release of “Sonichaos” Mishel teamed with Avi peled, together they came up with the "Todra” project, which had a much more matured musical approach. This project was instantly signed for the Krembo Records label and was released in '98 with great responds worldwide.
From that moment on Mishel started spining music around the world and from exploring the international markets and trends Mishel felt that he must bring his ideas into life but with a whole new perspective and so he changed his musical direction and progressed to what everyone knows today as “Safi Connection”.

Mishel started to work on the “Safi Connection” project in 2001, along with Tamir Ozana(a.k.a – Atomic Pulse), after polishing their first few tracks they signed a deal for an album to DJ Dede's own label “Spectrum Music” and in early 2002 the debut “Safi Connection” album, “Prince Of Paranoia” came to life. At the very same studio , was working Avi Shmailov , a.k.a – ASTRIX .

This album was distributed world wide through MDMA(r.i.p) and it has created a mega buzz for “Safi Connection”'s music and shows, reviews and interviews came out in all the respected media, magazines, internet, dj's charts and more.

2002 was a busy year for Mishel, it is the breakthrough year for him actually, since the release of the “Safi Connection” debut album Mishel and Tamir decided to go each on his own way, And so Mishel kept to work on the “Safi Connection” project while Tamir continued his career as Atomic Pulse.

SAFI CONNECTION 2nd studio Album was Released on Arcadia Music Japan & Distributed worldwide by no else than TOSHIBA – EMI , Japan .

In 2004 Mishel launched he's own Label – SPLIFF MUSIC. Spliff music gained a very warm feedbacks globally . and released no less than 23 cds till today .

All of Mishel's projects (Safi Connection, Neo Logic, B-Tone , Safi feat. Liquid phase , Central Nerve) are known for having a top quality production with stuning fresh ideas, it's the new style, its progressive full on trance, not the usual Israeli full on, twisted, funky and most important of all – it rocks the dancefloors everywhere around the world.

Cycle Sphere A.K.A. Udi Bitton (Dui to is friends) working is way up the psytrance scene for the last 4 years djing over israel. In 2004 he started to produce his first tracks, raw, underground and very original material. it was not long then after thet when he hooked up with Eskimo in the studio and it was then thet the Cycle Sphere sound was born. DYNAMIC aka Ben Avital and Shay Elmakaies

Dynamic are Ben Avital and Shay Elmakaies, two very talented musicians... ...from the next generation of the Israeli trance creators with their own unique sound and style that has developed significantly since they started producing music until now! Since the release of their premiere album 'Dynamix', the boys have released over 40 titles on various compilations and compiled 2 very successful compilations under Phonokol 'The Next Generation' and 'Global Trance NetWork'. They started collaborating with Junya (Eskimo) - that led to a new album release under the name 'Dynamo'! 'Dynamic Sound' was written and produced by the boys over the last 10 months and it is a major step forward by the Dynamic boys both by sound and production a massive trance album! the brazilian project 220v is one of the most promising upcoming projects in the Psytrance scene, it was formed by victor (a.k.a v-storm) and dudu (a.k.a tactical strike) , but now only victor continues in the lead of the project.
with less then 3 years of career, his tracks have been released all around the globe, for some of the most big psytrance labels in the world , such as Mind control records FRA (from cedric Talamasca) , Phantasm records UK (from eskimo) Proton records BRA, Tradesound (with the CD from the party that brought 33 thousand people to the dance floors in Brazil) and many many others.
In studio, 220v have already worked with huge names like ESKIMO , DYNAMIC, DYNAMO, ALTERNATIVE CONTROL, and recently is working on a remix from a SKAZI VS CPU track, called "Highest Party" .Mexico, Portugal, Swiss and Japan are countries where 220v has presented his live act, and also many cities around brazil, witch is one of the most powerfull psytrance scene in the world,

JIRAH aka Tim McCall

 

Tim McCall (Jirah) is known for creating energetic and atmospheric trance music, although the Jirah name has occasionally been associated with a more downtempo style. Coming from a musical family, he learned many instruments, his favorite being guitar. He grew up listening to a mix of rock and early techno music, experimenting with digital processing from the age of 12. His first exposure to goa/psy music came with the release of the "Blue Room / Trip Through Sound" compilation in 1997, which set him on a direct course into producing this type of sound. It was during this time that Jirah was born, and over the years Tim's music evolved as he continued to refine his skills. His debut album was released in 2003 on USTA Records, receiving strong reviews and acclaim worldwide. Tim went on to release music on many other labels such as Dragonfly, Aleph Zero, Organic, Harmonia and Spliff to name a few. Since his first live show in 2001, he has played throughout the world, from Europe to Asia to the Americas. In 2005, due to a mixed set of circumstances, Tim decided that he needed to take a break from songwriting and performance. His music continued to be released during this time, and after a three year silence, he is back on the scene with new projects on the way. E-Fact aka dj Hatha(Henrique Veiga) & dj Ice(Wagner Sasaki)

The E-Fact project was was conceived in 2005 by the DJs Hatha and Icy who have been working together since 2001 when they formed the group Spiritual Enhancer. In that time they have achieved recognition and prestige, with some of their tracks being recorded by some of the major records labels in the scene such as SPUN REC of Ibiza and TIP WORLD of England. Bringing with them all the experience they have acquired in their previous work, the Brasilia-based pair brings to this project a set list with new tracks that range from groovy to full on, characterized by consistent kick and bass lines, distinctive and innovative melodies and great dancefloor potential. In 2006, some of their newer tracks were released by names such as Mandala (FRA), Utopia (ISR), Yellow Sunshine (Isr), Spliff (ISR), Noga (JPN), and sing with a respected label: Vision Quest Productions from Japan. They are currently working on their debut album to be launched in 2007 by Vision Quest (JNP) Henrique Veiga (aka DJ Hatha) was born in 1980 in Brasilia. He began studying popular music, acoustic and bass guitar at the age of 13 and played bass for two bands performing in small shows in the region. In 1995, he had his first contact with the underground electronic music scene in many clubs around Brasília. When he was eighteen, he discovered psy trance, a musical genre with which he identified strongly and in which he decided to focus his future productions. Wagner G. Sasaki (aka DJ Icy), born in 1983, also in Brasilia, was already interested in electronic music by the age of 10. His talent as a DJ appeared early. With precise mixes and distinctive sets he made himself known as a DJ in clubs, at private parties and on radio programs in his hometown. Euro Dance was the style at that time. In 1996, he started to play other sorts of styles such as Speed Garage, Hard House, Deep House and 2 Step House. When he was 15, he moved to the U.S.A. and came in contact with Progressive Trance, a style to which he exclusively dedicated himself.. Back in Brazil, he found Psy Trance. His interest in the style led him to develop a full on set which was considered a DJ revelation from Brasilia. In 2001 the opportunity to create and produce his own music arose. Together with his friend and partner DJ Hatha they have formed one of the most popular live acts of the region, Spiritual Enhancer. The pair has performed at the principal music festivals in Brazil, such as Trancendence, Tranceformation, Parallelo Universe, Samsara and Cachoeira Alta alongside other artists such as Infected Mushroom, GMS, Astrix, Dimitri Nakov, Wrecked Machines, Shanti among other great names of the national and international scene.

BIGABO aka Avi Kalawani
BIGABO is Avi Kalawani (31) , from Israel , Tel aviv . Avi started making music in early 2004 . Avi comes from a wide psy trance History , while visited in Goa / India back at 98 , where India left a deep remark on Avi's music perception .
BIGABO first release appear on TOKYO X-RAY STUDIOS , as X-WAVE AND LIBRA TWINS , at August 2004, on X-Mode Vol.6 - TEN Commandment , that tune created a warm feedback through the main Psy Djs wordwide at the time .
At November 2004 , BIGABO collaborate with no else than Shay - DYNAMIC aka TRINITIX , that was released on PHONOKOL , on Global Trance Network (CD) .
Another 2 appearances of Bigabo on Miko Compilation : X-Mode Vol.7 Mastermind (2DVD) at January 2005 .
For the launce of " Sigma Vol.1 Arigatou " , BIGABO had hes first Internationl Gig in Tokyo , Osaka & Okaido , Japan

The next Step of Avi Bigabo , was compiling he's own Various Artists CD compilation , as being promoted to SIGMA records Artistic Manager & Artist Label .
BIGABOX compiled by BIGABO , was released at late 2006 , contains tunes from GMS , DYNAMO , 1200 MICS VS. ELECTRO NATION , DYNAMIC (Remixed by BIGABO) , MELICIA (Remixed by BIGABO) and more . with such an arsenal of artists , it was a sure call that the Compilation will be a massive success .
In Early 2007 , Sigma records released BIGABOX Vol. 2 , with features from :

2 MINDS aka shauli and miki ifrah

2minds are shauli and miki ifrah two brothers from northern israel. shauli is 26 years old and miki is 17 years old. they started to create trance music in late 2004. before the 2minds project was formed shauli was named d.j hobit and played as a d.j in many nature partyis in isreal and also in clubs like the "red-room" one of the biggest clubs in israel. there music style moves from full-on to psychodelic. 2minds tracks came out on sevrel compilations in sweden,india,mexico,japan,italy and more. they are currently working on the new album.

 

Psycho-punk aka Salvatore Giamblanco was born in Sicily 29/03/81.

In 1989 , his father gave him a YAMAHA PortaSound pss-480 music station keyboard as a present, which he still has,

at first it was very complicated for him but he started by trying to press all the buttons like a child does and so doing developed a keen interest in it and in electronic instruments.

In 1992, he put aside his keyboard, but just for a short period, to become a percussionist playing ethnic music.

He played with friends on the streets and in clubs in Italy.

He saw that when he played percussions people would dance and this gave him an amazing energy, so Salvatore discovered a new sensation, the wonderful sensation that only people can give.

In 1994, Salvatore, along with a friend, continued with the ethnic genre but this time djing with vinyls. Again they played in clubs but in a different way and they both loved it but Salvatore felt that something was missing.

So after 3 years, in 1997, he approached drum & bass/techno industrial, this introduced him to the world of electronic music which finally led him to the amazing dimension of psytrance! This history of music is what inspires the music he now produces .

In 2008 Psycho-Punk joins Psycore Records . He's debut album is due to November 2008 .

BPM are Aleksandar Lazarevic (1988) and Gradimir Kedzic (1989), two amaizingly talented young producers from Serbia.
